The ceremony of Haiwen (Puqian) Bridge in Hainan Province was held at 9 a.m. of March 18^th, which was open to the traffic officially at 3 p.m. of the same day. ZPMC manufactured 41 steel box girders for main bridge and 20 steel box girders for approach bridge, including ones for the approach bridge over the seismic fault and main bridge crossing the sea.

The Bridge is the one-tower dual-cable steel box girder cable-stayed bridge with largest investment, highest tower and largest span in the history of Hainan Province, which is also the only sea-crossing bridge over the seismic fault with highest earthquake and wind resistance levels in China. Haiwen Bridge, as one of key traffic project of one bridge and six roads in the Province, is an important traffic hub for the integrated economic circle of Haikou, Chengmai and Wenchang. The Bridge can reduce the distance from Haikou to Wenchang greatly after opening to the traffic, providing strong traffic support for the integrated development of the economic circle as well as the whole island and the whole province.
