ZPMC signed the contract of three post-Panamx low profile STSs with Everglades Terminals in Florida US recently, the first low profile STS project with US by ZPMC. Present at the signing ceremony were Cernak, Director of Port Office of Everglades Terminal, and Zhu Lianyu, Secretary and President of ZPMC.

Cernak expressed his satisfaction on previous amicable cooperation with ZPMC, adding that the newly purchased 3 post-Panamax STSs would assist the Terminal to load and unload larger container vessels, vitally important for the development of Everglades Terminal in the near future.

Zhu showed appreciation on the long term trust and support from Everglades Terminal and he also expressed that ZPMC would provide highly effective and quality products for the trust from Port Office of Everglades Terminal to deepen the cooperation of both parties.

Zhu, accompanied with related representatives of the Port Office after the ceremony, visited the Everglades Terminal and the expansion site of the container terminal.

Everglades Terminal is an independent company by Broward County of Florida with the operation profits for the construction and maintenance of the Terminal. The Terminal had the revenue of US$162million from shipping, loading and unloading of containers, cruise ships and other businesses in 2017. The largest expansion in the history is being made on the Terminal at present, with the south container terminal expanding to 2,400 feet, containing 5 new berths.
