On June 9, Ship “Zhenhua 29” has successfully discharged afloat a large-scale power generation ship at Angra Dos Reis, Brazil, and successfully completed the semi-submersible transportation project between Turkey and Brazil.

The power generation project ship this time weighs 24,000 tons and the submarine depth reaches 18.8m. Since the anchorage outside Angra Dos Reis has large swells and changeable weather all year round, which is unfavorable for discharging afloat unloading operation. Therefore, it is decided to move the ship to the anchorage site for unloading. However, the difficulty of discharging operation afloat is increased since there are many ships in the waters of the inner anchorage area, which requires high accuracy of positioning. For safe and efficient operation, Ship “Zhenhua 29” shall prepare for unloading operation in advance, formulate unloading operation plan and emergency plan, etc.. Moreover, Ship “Zhenhua 29” shall organize regular meeting of ship safety production, and the captain explains unloading operation, safety precautions and epidemic prevention requirements to the crew. Eventually, the discharging afloat of large power generation ships was successfully completed.
