On November 11, the 2020 Wharf Intelligent Solutions Exchange Forum of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited was successfully held in Pudong, Shanghai. The theme of the forum is "Digital Products and Services in the Full-life Wharf Circle". Nearly 300 colleagues from all walks of life from more than 100 units have participated in the off-line forum. Zhu Lianyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited, delivered the opening speech entitled Digital Lights up the Future and Enters the New Era of Digital Management in the Full-life Wharf Cycle. He pointed out that the value of technology has become more prominent under the COVID-19. In recent years, Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited, aiming at the trend of wharf intelligent development, has continuously helped the strategic transformation and upgrading of the port, and achieved fruitful results. He said that the current thinking of traditional wharf infrastructure was changing to the "new infrastructure" thinking of automatic and intelligent wharf. He stressed that the world today was undergoing profound changes unseen in a century. Third, keep up with the trend and unleash the innovation-led growth for cooperation. It is necessary to consider the current situation, enhance technical exchanges and cooperation, continue to explore and practice the ecosphere-based technology, management and service innovation, and make efforts to build an open platform for collaborative innovation, an enabling platform for the development of port and shipping, a smart platform for port management and a service platform for the future of port and shipping.

Huang Qingfeng, CEO and CPC Deputy Secretary of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited, delivered a keynote speech entitled Embrace the Future with Digital Services for the Benefit of the World and Create Full-life Cycle Products and Services in Digital Era for Port Users, which summarizes the company's efforts and practices in continuously building full-life cycle products and services driven by digital technology in the past year, and introduces in detail the company's remarkable achievements in cultivating new driving forces of smart wharf, promoting new mode of intelligent marketing and shaping new power of production management.

Centering on the practice, assumption and prospect of wharf development, Huang Qingfeng put forward several points for the future: first, further promote the digital upgrade of products and continuously improve the construction speed and operation efficiency of the wharf; second, strengthen the upgrading of digital production management and unswervingly promote the transformation and upgrading of production and manufacturing management; third, promote the construction of digital operation platform and provide support and guarantee for the wharf's high-level construction and renovation and high-quality operation.

This forum mainly includes four chapters: design, planning and simulation, digital twin, digital operation and maintenance, equipment management and supply chain sharing. At the forum, LBCT wharf in Long Beach and Swedish Wharf were also connected by video to show the successful ground cases of the wharf intelligent solution of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company Limited. In the picture, the ZPMC equipment on the "unmanned wharf" is running with high quality and efficiency, and the intelligent straddle carrier is doing its transportation work orderly.
