ZPMC unloading team completed the 3-day unloading of 4 pieces of the port machinery equipment for DPW Ecuador Posja Terminal after the hard work on May 5^th. Fabio, Manager of Terminal Engineering Department, made high praise for the effective work of the unloading team on the site with the thumb high.

Zhenhua No. 19 loaded with one STS and 3 RTGs arrived at the open seas ofEcuadorat the beginning of April, waiting for berthing.Ecuadorstopped all flights and made strict curfew due to the pandemic, which was a huge challenge to the unloading and delivery of the equipment.

To make sure the timely unloading of the equipment after the barge berthing, ZPMC made allocation of overseas resources. Fanyong, the shipping technician and Wangquan, the unloading commander, of the project inDominicaarrived at the site. They founded an unloading team of 4 members, including Jianglei, STS delivery director and Zhang Xinyu, RTG delivery director, who had arrived at the site earlier. They prepared the training plan in advance and provided the training on the subcontractor’s workers, making highly effective preparations for the unloading.

They made many negotiations with the user who provided a 3-day berthing period for Zhenhua No. 19. The barge would leave the port for the next berthing period in case of failing to complete the unloading. The unloading team prepared detailed operation procedures on the basis of the unloading plan provided by the shipping department of the Company and started the unloading at 3:00 in the early morning of May 2^nd. Finally, the unloading team completed the work within the stipulated period with the scientific allocation and the support from the terminal user.
