signed the delivery documents on the last 4 empty container RMGs for Abu Dhabi
Khalifa Port Automatic Terminal Phase II with COSCO Shipping Abu Dhabi Terminal
Company on December 10th, showing ZPMC completing the first overseas
system project.
ZPMC
signed the contract on Abu Dhabi Khalifa Port Automatic Terminal Phase II with
COSCO Shipping Abu Dhabi Terminal Company on July 12th, 2017,
including 11 STSs, 32 automatic RMGs, 1 fixed crane for container direction
adjustment and automatic equipment control and system integration. It only took
ZPMC 29 months to complete signing the contract, designing, manufacturing, debugging,
shipping, site debugging and delivery.
The
delivery team, solving the problems of high temperature of 50 outdoors, sand
and dust from the civil construction as well as other negative conditions in
the site debugging, completed different tasks of high quality as scheduled for
successful delivery, including the equipment recovery, system debugging and
acceptance. The equipment was operated well on the site, winning high praises
from the user who wrote 3 letters for thanks.
The
Terminal lying in an important part along the Belt and Road is a major gateway
port in Abu Dhabi, an important hub in the Middle East. The project is the
first completed project of China’s companies adhering to the Initiative of Belt
and Road. The Terminal has been top 25
container ports from original top 89 in the world, growing into an important
shipping hub with competence in the Gulf Region.
