ZPMC signed the contract on the steel box girder manufacturing for Peljesac Bridge of Croatia recently. It is the largest project of China and Croatia until now, a symbol of friendship and cooperation of both countries. It will be one of the landmarks for mutual benefits and win-win cooperation in Balkan under the Belt and Road Initiative.

The Bridge is the 6-tower single steel wire cable steel box girder cable-stayed bridge with the main span of 258m and the total length of 2,404m. The steel box girder is of the flat streamline in the section. ZPMC will manufacture the steel structures of 17,000t in accordance with the requirements of EN1090 EXC4.

The Bridge, located in Maliston Bay Natural Reserve of  Adriatic Sea, will cross the Bay of Maliston, connecting the lands of Croatia across the Sea. The Bridge will promote the passenger and cargo traffic for better life of the people on both banks, improving the economic and social development and civil improvement as well as the local peace and stability.
