Recently, the world's first independent platform automatic disassembly and locking machine jointly developed and manufactured by ZPMC and PSA Singapore has achieved the first efficient operation on ship.
The automatic disassembly and locking machine has continuously completed the unloading operation of 55 boxes, and the time required for each box operation is basically kept within 15 s. Under the established operation process, the platform can be used with the quay crane for efficient operation, replacing the manual removal of the lock pin under the corner of the container.
The equipment is ZPMC's key scientific research project, which uses a large number of cutting-edge automation technologies, including laser positioning technology, robot technology, machine vision technology, three-dimensional lock pin database technology, etc. The platform design is not covered by the roof, which can directly cooperate with the crane hanging box operation and also provides strong technical support for the subsequent transfer platform lock removal machine.
Automatic disassembly and locking pin technology is known as an important aid to realize the "last mile" of fully automated terminal operations, which is a worldwide problem. The automatic disassembly and locking machine developed by ZPMC can now cover more than 90% of the lock pin types in the market. At present, ZPMC's second automatic disassembly and locking machine has started construction. ZPMC will carry out more new technology research and development and application, and is committed to providing users with more reliable automatic locking and disassembly equipment.
