Recently, "Zhenhua 26" carrying 2 quay cranes and 1 rail crane for LBCT and 2 quay cranes for FMS is shipped from the wharf of Changxing Branch.
Quay cranes are additionally provided for the port of Long Beach, including 4 double trolley automated quay cranes. The first batch of equipment shipped is 2 quay cranes with a front outreach of 68.9 m, a back outreach of 27.4 m, a lifting height of 50 + 18 m, and a locking pin platform.
The rail crane has a rated capacity of 65 t, a span of 50.9 m, and a lifting height of 12 m. The trolley assembly is designed with full rotation. The equipment has a high automation degree, greatly improving the transfer efficiency between the storage yard and the freight train.
The port of Long Beach is an important shipping hub on the West Coast of the United States, and LBCT is an automated terminal for quay cranes, automated storage yards, and rail-motor transportation. ZPMC has been contracted to build 14 existing double trolley automated quay cranes for the port of Long Beach, all of which are put into operation.
The quay cranes for the Los Angeles project have a rated capacity of 65 t, a track gauge of 30.48 m, a lifting height of 52 + 20 m, a front outreach of 72.5 m, and a back outreach of 26 m.
