Recently Indo-Australian regional agency independently unloads two quay cranes in Papua New Guinea.
Two quay cranes from the SPICTL in Papua New Guinea arrived at the user’s wharf on 29 November. In the early stage of the project, Indo-Australian regional agency actively communicated with the Changxing Branch on the project, and coordinated the on-site unloading, commissioning and handover work in advance.
Due to COVID-19, the unloading team of ZPMC’s headquarters fails to get the exit visas on time, but the on-site work is extremely urgent. Indo-Australian regional agency gives full play to its advantages as the overseas talent center and assigns the project manager to the site in advance to carefully sort out the work of berthing and unloading preparations with the user. Even though ZPMC fails to assign its unloading team to the site, relying on the backup plan developed in the early stage of the project, a professional unloading team from India is immediately assigned to the site to ensure that the on-site work is not delayed. With the remote guidance and assistance of the headquarters and Changxing Branch, the on-site unloading team successfully unloads the two quay cranes. Then, the user writes a letter of thanks for this.
Subsequently the equipment recovery and commissioning work will be carried out on site.
