Recently, ZPMC successfully completed the delivery of 5 double-lifting quay cranes at CTB Wharf in Hamburg, Germany.
This batch of quay cranes are of double-lifting and double-girder structure, with single upper lifting weight of 85 t, double upper lifting weight of 125 t, track gauge of 35m, lifting rail height of 49.5m, outreach of 71.6m, backreach of 33m, and overall weight of about 2,600 t. They are called quay cranes of "super-length & super-weight". Compared with the traditional projects, this double-lifting quay crane project encountered greater difficulties in design, manufacture, commissioning, etc. In addition, due to the environmental and geographical factors of the wharf, there were also higher requirements for the noise standard during the operation of the quay cranes. The company adopted noise abatement design in the machine structure, machine room, etc., and the process was complex. During the delivery of the equipment, ZPMC's team carried out commissioning and tests on the location and layout of the sound insulation device for many times, and finally reached the wharf standard and passed the user's acceptance.
