On November 9^th, ZPMC signed the purchasing contracts of ￥1.5billion on electrical control system, brake and coupling, port crane spreaders, casting lights, bearings and towing chains with 6 suppliers of ABB Switzerland, BUBENZER Germany, BROMMA Sweden, Phoenix USA, SKF Sweden and Igus Germany on the first China International Import Expo (CIIE).

The contract signing was made on the special meeting sponsored by CCCC on CIIE, of which ZPMC is one of five signing companies. CCCC, as the top company on the list of ENR global maximum international contractors and one of first China companies to go aboard, is intended to establish a cooperation platform for resource integration, equality and mutual benefits for supply and requisitioning parties by integrating technical and experience advantages of foreign suppliers with market and capacity of CCCC, thus, showing CCCC positive participation into the global supply chain value system with practical action.

Present at the signing ceremony were Zhou Lianying, General Manager of CCCC Materials Company, Zhu Lianyu, Secretary and Chairman of ZPMC, Huang Qingfeng, President and Vice-secretary of ZPMC as well as related persons in charge of CCCC Materials Purchasing Management Center, ZPMC Materials Purchasing Department and other signing parties.

ZPMC has more than 1,000 qualified suppliers in the registration at present, of which there are more than 300 import suppliers. ZPMC has been leading more than 160 companies going abroad with advantages on the platform and brand for recent years. Meanwhile, ZPMC also stresses on the introduction with the annual average purchasing amount of ￥10billion, of which the annual purchasing amount of imported materials is￥6billion, accounting for more than 60% of the total purchasing amount.

Zhu Lianyu expressed in his speech that ZPMC would, in the reform and opening up and under the leadership of CCCC and starting up from such signing contract, support the multilateral trading system positively and implement the supply chain strategy by expanding cooperation fields and innovative business modes, thus, improving the global resources supply capacity. It would improve the opening up and cooperation with suppliers on strategy, market, technology, quality and service. The Company would, with opening up and cooperation in different fields, promote the traditional manufacturing for green, efficient and intelligent development, thus, providing quality products and services for the global customers.

The first China International Import Expo (CIIE) was opened on November 5^th to 10^th in the National Convention and Exhibition Centre (Shanghai), covering an area of 300,000m², with 3,600 companies from 172 countries, regions and international organizations present at the Expo, of which more than 40,000 purchasers at home and abroad negotiated at the Expo.  CIIE is the first expo of the country level in the world so far, which is pioneering in the international trade development history, showing the will and responsibility of China for mutual benefits, win-win cooperation with the rest of the world.
