ZPMC won the contract of manufacturing steel truss girder for main bridge of Jinsha River Bridge recently, which is a suspension bridge over valleys with the largest span in the world at present and the steel structure of 12,000t totally.

The Bridge is critical for  Huaping-Lijiang Section of G4216 Chengdu-Lijiang Highway in the state highway network. The main bridge is the dual-tower and dual-cable single span suspension one of simply supported plate truss and stiffening girder with the main span of 1,386m. The side span at Huaping bank is the non-suspension structure of 320m while the one at Lijiang bank is the non-suspension structure of 205m.

The Bridge will fill into the blank in the east-west pattern of highway network from Lijiang Yunan Province to Panzhihua Sichuan Province, which is vital for the economic development of Yunnan Province.
