Recently, Zhenbao No. 1 deep and far sea abalone cultivation equipment by ZPMC was loaded on the ship and transported to Lianjiang cultivation zone of Fujian. The equipment would be anchored at the appointed area. The equipment is used to turn the traditional manual cultivation mode into mechanical mode, reducing the work intensity and improving the work efficiency greatly. It opens a new era of the maritime cultivation mode in Liangjiang Fujian.

It’s the first maritime cultivation platform by ZPMC in China, featuring 24.6m in the total length, 16.0m in the moulded width and 1.8m in the moulded depth as well as containing 5,000 abalone cultivation boxes. It consists of the floating structure, cultivation cage, upper framework, underwater framework and mechanical lifting device. The workers can add the oxygen aerator to add more oxygen to the water, making sure the survival rate of the abalone in case of red tides. One single platform is predicted to produce 12t of abalone approximately after being put into operation.

To meet the requirements of environment protection policy of the state, it’s a trend to develop the high sea cultivation due to damaged maritime ecological environment in coastal waters. The equipment can not only overcome the poor storm resistance capacity of the traditional mode to expand the present cultivation area to deep and high sea and expand the cultivation scale for more economic profits as well. Considering the offshore rich natural resources, the equipment is also equipped with the wind power generator to provide the green power to the abalone cultivation, making sure the energy saving and environment protection.
