ZPMC signed Qingdao Port Fully Automatic Terminal Loading and Unloading System General Contract (Phase II) with Qingdao Port Group on Sep 8^th, a second cooperation after Qingdao Port Phase I Project. It is planned to build 2 berths with multiple pieces of equipment, including automatic dual-trolley STSs, automatic L-AGVs and automatic RMGs.

ZPMC signed the Qingdao Port Fully Automatic Container Terminal Loading and Unloading System General Contract (Phase I) with Qingdao Port Group on June 27^th, 2015, which was put into official commercial operation on May 11^th, 2017. It was the first real fully automatic terminal in Asia with the construction period and operation efficiency breaking the industry record. It was more advanced than the manual terminal, setting the international record of the single equipment average efficiency of 42.9Unit/h.

Qingdao Fully Automatic Terminal by ZPMC is under several personnel' remote monitoring to complete the transportation and deploy of cargos. It is really automatic, with unmanned loading and unloading along the shore, unmanned horizontal transportation, unmanned piling and lifting containers and unmanned gate inspection.

ZPMC started to step into the automation field in 1998 and completed the first automatic terminal model line in China in 2008, indicating the Company owning the capacity to provide the whole automatic solution. The Company keeps R&D on hardware, producing the automatic STS under remote control, automatic AGV with lifting function, dual-container automatic RMG and automatic battery replacement station. It also develops the terminal operation system (ESC) independently, creating the Chinese Core of automatic terminals.

ZPMC cooperates with Qingdao Port again, building more efficient, advanced and energy saving and environment friendly automatic terminal. ZPMC will be leading in the automatic terminal construction in China and in the globe, becoming the leader in the global port development in a new era.
