The first vertical bus parking system by ZPMC passed the type test by China Hoisting & Conveying Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center recently.

At present, to solve the increasing traffic jam in main cities of China, the local governments put forward the urban public traffic priority development strategy to build the “State Transit Metropolis”. The buses play an important role in improving the passenger transportation efficiency, energy saving and environment protection. However, there is a problems of occupying too much parking space.

To build “Smart city”, ZPMC started the R&D of the vertical bus parking system in January, 2018 and completed the design, manufacturing, installation and debugging after 3 and half months on the basis of strong design and manufacturing capacity in the hoisting equipment.

The vertical bus parking system is the first by ZPMC with the rated load of 12.5t at each parking space, covering most regular public transit vehicles and buses. Meanwhile, a charging station is equipped to each parking space, solving the problems of stopping position and charging at night of electronic buses.

The system passed the type test successfully, providing solid foundation for the development of vertical bus parking system by ZPMC.
