The China-US Quality Summit of 2018 WQIC was held in Seattle US on April 30th (local time). Huang Qingfeng, President and Deputy Secretary of ZPMC, attended the Conference at the invitation and made the speech “Improve smart manufacturing capacity of port machinery to meet development requirements of Internet of Things”.

To strengthen the communication and exchange of enterprisers between China and USA and to meet new challenges arising out of digital era, the first China-US Quality Summit was held jointly by AQSIQ and ASQ during WQIC of the year. Present at the Summit were representatives of China enterprises, including ZPMC, Haier, Weichai Power, Shentong Metro, Xiamen Airlines, Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Research and Design Institute, China Zhongtie Major Bridge Engineering Group and Dunhuang Academy as well as business and academic circles of the USA, sharing experience and exchanging opinions on the quality new vision in the digital era.

Huang Qingfeng shared the fine manufacturing system of ZPMC and professional team cultivation in the speech, emphasizing ZPMC restructuring to intelligent manufacturing, self-developed 4th generation automatic terminal loading and unloading system in the world with safe, environment friendly, intelligent and efficient features. With the development of Internet of Things, ZPMC will create more intelligent products on the basis of the capital and informatization in the direction of people-oriented, resource-saving, ecological, modern logistics and digital development.

WQIC, dating from 1947, is sponsored by ASQ, which is one of famous international conferences in the quality. The first China-US Quality Summit was held in the Conference, present by3,000 professionals from more than 50 countries and regions to discuss on the quality management and innovation.
