ZPMC signed the contract with Longyuan Zhenhua on the 2,500 bottom supported off-shore wind power installation platform project on April 20th.
Present at the signing ceremony were Huang Qingfeng, President and Vice Secretary of ZPMC, Guan Tongxian, former president, Songyang, Deputy Director of Hi-tech Division of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Xuli, Vice General Manager of CCS Shanghai Branch. Gaofeng, General Manager of ZPMC COSCO-shipyard (Qidong), Lize, General Manager of Longyuan Zhenhua and Liyang, Chairman of Guodian Finance Leasing Co., Ltd. signed the contract as the representative respectively.
The bottom supported offshore wind power installation platform is the initialized new one in the world, with integration of multiple top hi-techs. The platform consists of the upper and lower vessel bodies. The lower floating vessel is of the closed structure connected with four legs, which can sink on the hard clay layer on the seafloor. It can improve the efficiency by 2-3 times at least thanks to the legs plugged in and out easily and rapidly, compared with the traditional wind power installation platform. The platform is researched, developed, designed and manufactured by ZPMC, with the vessel length of 100m, module width of 48m and module depth of 14m as well as the maximum lifting capacity of 2,500t. It exceeds Longyuan Zhenhua No. 3, ranking at the top of platforms of the same type in the world.
