On April 13th, Longyuan Zhenhua of ZPMC signed the cooperation intension document on 4,500KJ hydraulic pile hammer, the largest in the globe, with Beijing Research Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology, indicating the commencement of the related R&D. It filled the blank of large scale offshore wind power hydraulic pile hammer in China, breaking the foreign long term technological monopoly, which is a milestone for further improvement on marine equipment capacity and marine resources development capacity of China.
The hydraulic pile hammer is a kind of equipment for offshore pile foundation construction to strike the pile with hydraulic driving force, featuring high impact frequency, large impact force and complicated structures. It is widely used for offshore wind power development and oil and gas exploitation as the key equipment for present marine resources development in the world.
The hydraulic pile hammer to be developed this time owns the largest pile driving capacity in the world with the single driving force of 4,500KJ, meeting the requirements of offshore wind power single pile foundation of more than 8MW with the maximum diameter 7.2m of the flange, exceeding the pile driving capacity of 4,000KJ and the maximum diameter 6.5m of the flange maximally in foreign countries.
It is the second cooperation between Longyuan Zhenhua and Beijing Research Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology, besides the cooperation on 2,500KJ hydraulic pile hammer, the largest in China at present. The hydraulic pile hammer of 2,500KJ was developed and manufactured in September 2017, of which the whole design and manufacturing will be completed in this September. It will be used initially on the Longyuan Dafeng Phase II offshore wind power project.
