On April 2nd, Longyuan Zhenhua of ZPMC won the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract on the wind turbine foundation and offshore booster station foundation of Guangdong Yuedian Zhanjiang Wailuo Offshore Wind Power Project. It is the first offshore wind power project in EPC and the first one with the single pill of large diameter in Guangdong Province.

Longyuan Zhenhua has many years experience on the offshore wind power, which is the only one to master the large single pipe pill rock drilling technology and to own the core equipment and successful construction experience. Longyuan Zhenhua initialized the single pill without transition section and the single pill rock drilling technology, which will solve the problem of particular geological structure in Guangdong Province. The Project is planned to install 36 wind turbines of 5.5MW each and one 220KV offshore booster station, totally the installed capacity of 198MW.

The Project is the first offshore wind power project in south China by Longyuan Zhenhua, expanding the construction range to the southern border of the mainland, which is the foundation to explore the offshore wind power market in the future.
