On April 8th, the whole lifting test was made on Longyuan Zhenhua No. 3, the biggest wind power installation platform of 2,000t in the world in Marine Platform Department. The vessel lifted to the position of 80m of the leg, reaching the limit position at half past ten and then fell to the preset height successfully after staying for one hour.
The whole lifting is the basic function of the wind power installation platform for the offshore construction, which is the key part of the platform manufacturing. The lifting test is most important to test the vessel limit and the construction accuracy because of greatest danger and most complicated procedures in various tests. Therefore, it is the important acceptance test node before delivery of the platform. This successful lifting test indicates the overall lifting capacity and leg manufacturing accuracy, making solid foundation for the later delivery.
The platform, researched, developed, designed and manufactured by ZPMC, is the wind power construction one with integration of large equipment lifting, pilling and installation of wind power equipment, which is listed in China Classification Society (CCS). The vessel, with the length of 100.8m, molded width of 43.2m and molded depth of 8.4m as well as the lift capacity of 2,000t, is the top one of the same type in the world. The platform has the lifting capacity of 1,500t of double hook and single hook, making sure the turning of large megawatt-level marine wind generator in the air. The crane on the platform can lift up as much as 120m, the biggest height of the self-lifting wind power installation platform in the world at present. The platform also has the maximum operation depth of 50m, the largest depth in China. Therefore, the platform is quite critical for the marine wind power operation to develop from the shallow sea to offshore in China.
